Western Sydney Airport has revealed concepts for the airport’s Visitor Centre, which will give the community the chance to watch the airport come to life right before their eyes. 

Work to build Western Sydney Airport has begun, with ground broken today on the once-in-a-generation project.  

“Today marks both the end of a long journey and the start of an exciting new one,” Western Sydney Airport Chief Executive Graham Millett said.  

WSA Co today called for expressions of interest in the first of the highly soughtafter major earthworks contracts for the airport.

A visitor centre with views of the construction site will give the community a chance to see Western Sydney Airport take shape from the best seat in the house.

Hard hats and excavators will be on site by the end of the year after WSA Co awarded major contracts for Western Sydney Airport, creating up to 300 jobs.

Almost 12 months after it was established, WSA Co has met all major milestones and is on track to see construction activity begin by the end of the year.

WSA Co has invited registrations of interest to develop a masterplan for Western Sydney Airport’s operations.

On Thursday 17 May, The Australian Government officially signed over the Western Sydney Airport site to WSA Co Limited (WSA Co). The granting of the lease formalises WSA Co's right to build and operate the airport.

WSA Co today announced its shortlist for the highly-coveted Delivery Partner for the development of the new airport.

WSA Co today applauded the NSW Government's commitment to further investment in key transport corridors and infrastructure across Western Sydney.
